Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a Mascot Handler for appearances (internal and external) as well as match days. Availability to work regular season and playoff games, as well as mascot appearances. Ability to adapt to different environments to provide the best game experience for fans. Ability to problem solve quickly in a live sports setting to ensure that scripted events hit properly, and that the performer and fan safety is maintained. Maintain and create mascot props, costumes, and skit items as needed. Assist REDD in ideation sessions throughout the season (in-game skits, social media content, and external requests) when needed. Assist in gameday preparation including rolling t-shirts, organizing seat and suite visits, handing out prizes to fans, and going over the game schedule ahead of time. Strong communication over headset with all game presentation staff during the games. Other fast-paced game day duties as assigned. Ability to engage fans of all ages with proper customer support, and assist in making their time at the games special and memorable. The mascot handler hours are contingent upon incoming requests.
