Who We Are
At
Global Traffic Group (GTG)
, we’re driven by a clear purpose: creating safer roads and smarter, more connected communities. Through innovative traffic safety and enforcement technologies, we’re helping shape the infrastructure of the future built on data, guided by safety, and strengthened through partnerships. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated
Marketing Specialist
who brings strong writing, strategic thinking, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to support our growth.
About the Role
We are seeking a
Marketing Specialist
who can independently manage day-to-day marketing activities while supporting our sales, proposals, and operations teams. This is a hands-on role responsible for moving marketing projects from initial idea through to completion and supporting the full business development process, from initial outreach through to winning proposals.
This is not a supervisory position. It is suited for a self-directed marketing professional who can think strategically, write clearly, prioritize the right work, and carry projects through to completion while contributing to Global Traffic Group’s go-to-market success.
The successful candidate will take ownership of marketing execution across lead generation, proposals, events, content, product marketing, website management, social media, analytics, and external advertising support.
What You’ll Do
Lead Generation:
Build and verify contact lists, maintain accurate CRM records, and develop and manage email sequences that open doors for sales.
Proposals & Sales Content:
Contribute to RFP responses, proposals, and presentations, improving both the writing and visual quality.
Events:
Coordinate conferences and trade shows, including registration, booth materials, pre-event outreach, and follow-up.
Content & Product Marketing:
Write website pages, articles, case studies, and social content; translate technical information clearly; and maintain product pages, specification sheets, and service tier descriptions.
Digital Presence & Advertising:
Attract and convert inbound traffic, manage routine website edits and analytics, and oversee the external specialist or agency responsible for digital advertising.
What You Bring
3 to 6 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B, technology, or the public sector
Strong writing skills and the ability to work quickly and clearly across sales and marketing content
A track record of taking projects from idea to completion, including campaigns, web pages, collateral, or event programs
Strong strategic and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess what is working and recommend what should come next
Fluency with AI tools and sound judgment about their strengths and limitations
Ability to explain technical products in simple, plain language
Strong organization and attention to detail, with a commitment to checking work carefully before it is released
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Claude, WordPress, Elementor, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Pipedrive, SharePoint, or Zapier
Experience marketing to municipalities or government, coordinating events, and managing an external digital advertising specialist
The Ideal Candidate:
You’re a self-sufficient marketing professional who takes pride in producing clear, polished work. You’re detail-oriented, strategic, and comfortable working independently while supporting broader sales and organizational goals.
Independent Operator:
Comfortable managing marketing responsibilities and projects from beginning to end
Strategic Communicator:
Able to assess what is needed and turn complex information into clear, effective content
Detail-Oriented:
Ensures accuracy and quality across proposals, campaigns, digital content, and marketing materials
Team Contributor:
Communicates effectively and supports cross-functional collaboration
Reliable & Accountable:
Takes ownership of marketing priorities, deadlines, and quality standards
