Acclaim Health is a registered charity that helps over 25,000 people a year in Halton Region and Mississauga, most of whom are older adults.
Acclaim Health announces the availability of one (1) temporary Full Time
Marketing Specialist, Design
position. This position is based out of the Oakville Head office. This is a temporary position for approximately twelve (12) months. The Individual will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Salary Range: $53,020.50 -$57,915.00
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Collaborates with the Director, CE and the Marketing Specialist, Communications to develop an integrated marketing and communication plan designed to build the organizational profile
Develops and implements marketing plans for specific programs/projects, collaborating with the Marketing Specialist, Communications as required
Assists in maintaining content on the intranet
Assists in preparing and sharing client, volunteer, and donor stories to illustrate the impact of the organization’s work in collaboration with the CE team
Designs and produces print and digital creative, including:
Designing multi-page print documents for the press
Video graphics and editing
Virtual presentations
Exterior and interior signage
Promotional materials of all kinds
Project/program specific materials as required
Manages Acclaim Health’s website and virtual club, including:
Ensuring website is functioning normally
Ensuring website meets accessibility requirements by conducting annual audits and making improvements as required
Ensuring web content is optimized for SEO
Evaluating the effectiveness of the website and its functionality using Google Analytics
Recommending and implementing improvements as required
Manages Acclaim Health’s online advertising, including:
Monitoring existing ads
Creating new ads
Evaluating its effectiveness through data analysis and recommending changes as required
Acts as a secondary resource to colleagues across the organization regarding:
Zoom (events for external stakeholders)
Eventbrite (online registration)
Constant Contact (email marketing)
Calendly (scheduling platform)
Marketing and communications best practices within these platforms
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Diploma or degree in graphic design or equivalent
Valid Ontario driver’s license, use of vehicle and insurance per company policy
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in graphic design and/or marketing
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Wordpress, Sharepoint, social media
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and time management skills
Experience in working with/preparing files for suppliers and printers
Detail oriented, accurate and organized
Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
