Job Description Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager and Events & Activations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to: Support hotel events and activations through content creation and live social media coverage before, during, and after events. Develop and manage social media content calendars across hotel property, dining venues, events, and seasonal campaigns. Create, capture, and publish engaging photo, video, graphic, and written content for social media channels, ensuring alignment with Fairmont brand standards and voice. Monitor social media channels and online reputation platforms, engaging with audiences and responding to inquiries and guest feedback in a timely and professional manner. Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content opportunities to drive engagement and brand awareness. Track and report on social media and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Research and support influencer, creator, media, and partnership opportunities that align with hotel objectives. Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives. Create marketing collateral using Canva, including digital advertisements, invitations, signage, menus, and promotional materials. Maintain and organize the hotel's digital asset library, including photography, video, and creative files. Coordinate internal communications related to marketing initiatives and social media campaigns. Provide administrative support to the Marketing & Events department as required. Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required to support events, content creation, and social media coverage.
