The team at Hartzel Marine is a well-oiled machine, and in need of another person to become part of that. Job description Punctual, reliable, exhibiting time management and meeting deadlines, positive attitude, maintain effective work relationships. Experience with outboards of Tohatsu, Mercury, Yamaha Manufacture and their systems both electrical and mechanical. Able to work independently as well as working well with others. Good at problem solving, adjusting pace suited to needs of business. Ability to rig and install components. Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate issues with mechanical or electrical parts. Preform scheduled service and maintenance, advise Service Writer of diagnosis, needed repairs, additional work needed, and cost estimate. Knowledge on all types of engines, diagnostics, small engine, and marine power units. Familiar with working orders such as summarizations, winterizations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. All applicants must have the ability to get to the marina independently, and must be able to legally work in Ontario, Canada at time of application.
