Job Description Renesas Electronics is looking for a Production Control Support Specialist to provide critical on-site support to wafer fabrication manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory control, and production readiness. This role partners cross-functionally with manufacturing, planning, and supply chain teams to maintain operational continuity and drive process improvements within a dynamic fab environment. Key Responsibilities Provide real-time, on-site support for daily wafer fabrication manufacturing activities to ensure uninterrupted production flow Manage and maintain starting materials inventory, including tracking, stocking, and ensuring availability to meet production schedules Support production planning activities by coordinating material readiness and assisting with schedule execution Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution Create and manage purchase requisitions in support of production and inventory needs Maintain and update manufacturing systems, databases, and tracking tools to ensure data accuracy and visibility Support fab hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with cleanroom protocols Identify, recommend, and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize material flow Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Key Competencies Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset Strong organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives Adaptability in a cleanroom, high-volume production environment Why This Role Matters This position plays a vital role in maintaining production continuity and operational efficiency within the fab.
