This role is pivotal in shaping the people strategy and driving initiatives that matter. As a key member of a small, lean HR team, the successful candidate will work closely with a compassionate leader who prioritizes empathy, accountability, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Business Partnership & Employee Support Act as the primary People & Culture partner to leaders, providing practical guidance on performance management and employee relations. Build strong relationships to understand and support business needs, addressing employee matters with sensitivity and care. Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers. Collaborate with leaders on role definition and hiring strategies to attract top talent. Own the onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and transfers, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the employee lifecycle. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure consistent application of policies and processes. HR Systems & Process Optimization Support and enhance HR systems, including Workday, driving process improvements for efficiency and scalability. Identify and implement enhancements to workflows and tools to streamline operations. Provide direction and mentorship to a Coordinator, fostering their development and ensuring effective execution of HR operations. Oversee payroll administration and ensure quality delivery of team outputs. Who You Are Strategic and Tactical — You balance hands-on delivery with big-picture thinking. Strong experience in HR operations, recruitment, and employee lifecycle management. Proven ability to partner with leaders and provide practical HR guidance. Workday experience is highly preferred; familiarity with modules is an asset. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
