Job Description Manager, Logistics Operations Responsibilities Oversee daily logistics, transportation, warehouse, and distribution operations. Develop and implement operational plans aligned with organizational goals and business growth. Lead, manage, train, and mentor employees, including drivers and distribution personnel. Monitor operational performance, budgets, staffing, and service delivery. Identify opportunities to improve route planning, distribution efficiency, and cost management. Manage customer relationships and resolve service or delivery-related issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement. Skills and Experience Required Experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, and distribution management. Strong knowledge of route planning, GPS technology, and inventory management. Knowledge of WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and applicable transportation safety regulations. Proven leadership, team management, and employee development skills. Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and operational planning. Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems. Ability to manage multiple projects and drive process improvements. Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Medical laboratory operations experience is an asset. Working Conditions Office or medical laboratory environment. Some travel may be required.
