Reporting to the AVP, Corporate Financial Reporting – Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (“ICOFR”), the Manager, Corporate Financial Reporting – ICOFR supports the maintenance and enhancement of the Company’s global ICOFR program.
Responsibilities
Provide monitoring and advisory support to operating segments, risk and compliance teams, and business units over the scoping, improving, and greenlighting of entity-level, business process, and IT general controls
Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure alignment, audit readiness, and addressing findings
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
Report global ICOFR program updates, assessment results, and potential gaps to senior management, audit committee, and other stakeholders
Coach and mentor team members, developing them into future leaders
Qualifications
Progressive experience in various areas of audit or ICOFR for at least 4 years
CPA designation is required
Advanced knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards, including National Instrument 52-108, 109, and 110, and the COSO framework
Working knowledge with IFRS (in particular, IAS 8)
Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate across business functions and segments
Project management is a strong asset
Experience with insurance and financial institutions is a strong asset
Experience with coaching and leading a team

Base salary: $102.000.00 - $152,000.00 annually.
