Job Summary:
we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our private clinic in Whitby. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic mammography services and exceptional patient care within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
Ensure accurate patient positioning to obtain optimal image quality.
Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment as needed.
Educate patients on procedures, addressing questions and concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technology program.
Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
Demonstrated experience in performing mammography procedures.
Proficiency in operating mammography equipment.
Strong understanding of breast anatomy and pathology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to patient safety and quality imaging.
