Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Millwright Job Description Join our team as a Millwright, working at various warehouses in Edmonton to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on automated systems. This role involves traveling to four locations in Edmonton, ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on automation systems at various FedEx sites. Travel to different locations across Edmonton to provide maintenance services. Work independently and interact with clients at FedEx sites. Troubleshoot, install, and repair conveyor systems. Collaborate with senior employees and participate in training sessions. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Installation Maintenance and repair of conveyor systems Ticketed Millwright Journeyman or 3rd/4th year apprentice Sit-down forklift experience and ticket AWP and Fall Arrest certifications General industrial skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, repair, and welding Additional Skills & Qualifications Welding experience Handyman skills Ability to work independently Why Work Here? Work Environment The work schedule is from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call duties one week per month from 4:30 PM to 8 AM. On-call work is compensated at time and a half, with a minimum pay of two hours per call. Initial training will be conducted in Calgary for the first week Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edmonton, AB.
