A career at InnVest will provide you with unrivaled opportunities and invaluable exposure to Canada’s largest independently-owned and operated hotel portfolio RESPONSIBILITIES Provides personalized service to all guests Takes drink orders from customers Responsible for knowing prices of menu items Serves drinks such as wine and beer and spirits Mixed drinks and cocktails according to recipes Checks identification of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age Monitors guests and does not over serve or serve to intoxicated guests Cleans bar, tables, and work areas Operate POS system, cash handling, and debit/credit transactions Manages bar operation, order, maintain liquor and bar supplies Provide food service Follow food safety standards REQUIREMENTS Smart Serve certified A minimum of 1 years of experience working as a bartender is considered an asset Flexible schedule Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming Must be able to multi- task and prioritize tasks when needed in a fast-paced environment Possess basic math, reading, and writing skills Ability to lift up to 50lbs
