Job Description JOB DETAILS Base pay rate is $21.00 - $23.00 per hour 1st Shift Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM , hours may vary depending on operations DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Understands and follows safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment. Employs a range of crating and packaging resources, including metal bands and protective coverings, to ensure parts are securely fastened and safeguarded during transport. Proficient in operating forklifts and other lifting equipment. Responsible for each lift, deciding when to check actual vs maximum allowable trailer load. Assists with inventory counts as required Maintains practices for continuous improvement within the work area. Utilize scanning equipment Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste Willing/able to work overtime Ability read, write, and follow posted schedules May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader
