Role Summary As a Rubber Tire Loader Operator, you help keep job sites flowing by loading, moving, and placing materials that support organized laydown areas and efficient site operations. In this role you willbe responsible forthe following: Loader Operation & Material Handling Operate a rubber tire loader safely on active job sites and haul roadsin accordance withsite rules and speed limits. Load, transport, and place materials whilemaintainingmachine stability. Aggregate Placement Use proper bucket and spoon control to prevent overfilling. Place aggregates accurately according to laydown plans andforemandirection. Attachments & Setup Use and change bucket and fork attachments asrequired. Ensure all attachment pins are secure and inspected prior to operation. Site & Infrastructure Awareness Maintain awareness of underground utilities and site features, including catch basins,manholes, valve boxes, and control points. Avoid placing material on or against infrastructure. Overhead Hazard Awareness Maintain awareness of overhead hazards when raising the bucket, stacking materials, oroperatingin congested laydown and loading areas. Laydown Area Support Assist with setting up andmaintainingorganized, efficient laydown areas to support site operations. Communication & Coordination Use clear hand signals, radios, or verbal direction to coordinate with spotters, truck drivers, and crew members. Equipment Inspections & Care Perform daily pre-operational inspections, complete required greasing and fluid checks, keep equipment clean, and report defects promptly. Site Safety & Compliance Follow AlbertaOHS requirements and GS Construction safety procedures at all times. Report unsafe conditionsimmediately. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experienceoperatinga rubber tire loader in active construction environments involving deep excavations, or confined job sites. Strong understanding of aggregate handlingand material placement in support of field operations. Working knowledge of site safety requirements, including utility awareness and communication with spotters and crew members. Valid drivers licensewith a clean driving record. CSTS, First Aid/CPR, and other relevant safety tickets are considered an asset. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements This is a physically active, outdoor role.You'llbe working in all kinds of weather. Youllneed to be comfortablelifting upto 50 lbs and handling physically demanding tasks throughout the day. Work takes place on active construction sites with heavy equipment, uneven terrain, and live underground utilities.
