Sofina in Hanover, Ontario is hiring on their production line. Reporting to the Supervisor, the Production Worker is responsible for processing food products. This position involves repetitive work with a need for speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. You will be required to work in different areas of the department performing a variety of production related activities. Job Purpose and Duties Unload live birds from trailers and place on the line Monitor for animal welfare conditions; ensure human handling practices are followed at all times Utilize safe lifting techniques and work practices All other duties as required Qualifications Demonstrated understanding of food safety (to be tested) Successful completion of Animal Welfare training Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (lifting 18kgs +) Demonstrated recent satisfactory performance and attendance ABOUT US Sofina Foods is committed to Employment Equity and maintaining a diverse workforce.
