Job DescriptionJob Description **Applicants must be available for orientation and the entirety of the Calgary Stampede to be considered for this position** ABOUT THE POSITION National Saloon is looking for liquor supervisors to fill out their team on a full-time seasonal contract for the duration of the Calgary Stampede. Reporting to the Beverage Director, the Liquor Supervisor responsible for several functions including, but not limited toensuring the accurate hand over of requisitioned product, verifying inventory counts, reporting to liquor managers, receiving liquor orders, and weighing out bars. WHAT YOU’LL GET Competitive hourly wage Gratuities 25% off food & beverage company wide WHAT YOU’LL DO Work with liquor managers on setting up initial requisitions for bars/beer tubs. Assist with weighing in/out bars, beverage counts, and keeping accurate records. Verify picked requisitions are correct prior to sending the product out with the bar assistants and verify the bar the product is being sent to. Ensure all requisition sheets are signed by both a liquor team memberand alsothe bar assistant and filed accordingly. Organize and correctly record requisitions for liquor and canned product. Maintain organization of refrigeration units to ensure product is easily accessible and easy to count daily to verify inventory. Assist and delegate direction when putting away delivered liquor and stock orders. Assist in transporting bar product back to the liquor area at the end of each night. WHAT YOU HAVE 1-2+ years’ experience in a high-volume bar environment required. Experience with weigh-outs and paybacks considered an asset. Strong English communication skills with ability to establish and develop relationships with guests, team members, and vendors. Strong attention to detail, organization, and exceptional time management skills. Basic knowledge ofthefloor plan, serviceprocedures and functions. Basic math skills, can handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system. Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations. A valid Alberta ProServe Certification obtained prior to starting. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Capacity to safely lift up to50 Over 18 years of age as alcohol service and open scheduling availability is a requirement.
