About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dependable
Line Cook
to join our culinary team at Aiden Mississauga. The ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, committed to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and food safety standards, and thrives in a fast-paced hotel kitchen environment where consistency, quality, and teamwork are essential.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to hotel standards and recipes
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
Support breakfast, lunch, or dinner service as required
Requirements
Previous experience as a line cooks in a kitchen environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Culinary training or certification is an asset
Food Handler certification is an asset
