This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Licensed Insurance Advisor based in Canada.
As a Licensed Insurance Advisor, you will help consumers make informed decisions about life and critical illness insurance.
You will conduct needs analyses, provide clear guidance, and support clients throughout the application process.
The role combines consultative sales, customer service, compliance, and relationship management in a structured environment.
You will communicate with prospects and clients through both phone and written channels, helping them understand suitable insurance solutions.
Success will be measured through sales performance, quality standards, customer interactions, and regulatory compliance.
You will work both independently and collaboratively while contributing to marketing and sponsor initiatives.
This is a full-time remote opportunity with a starting salary of
$40,000 CAD
, plus eligibility for variable incentives.
Accountabilities;
Provide insurance advice and conduct thorough needs analyses to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Complete and submit sales applications accurately while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Sell and service life insurance and critical illness insurance products while delivering a professional and customer-focused experience.
Respond to prospect and client inquiries through verbal and written communication, providing clear and accurate information.
Record prospect feedback, customer interactions, and relevant information accurately in online systems.
Consistently work toward monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining required quality standards.
Follow approved sales scripts, processes, and regulatory requirements throughout customer interactions.
Support marketing initiatives, sponsor campaigns, and other commercial activities as required.
Maintain all required life insurance licensing in good standing.
Manage responsibilities independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and supporting broader team objectives.
Take on additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support business and customer needs.
Requirements
Hold valid provincial
Life and Accident & Sickness insurance licenses
, with
Quebec licensing mandatory
.
Have proven experience in sales, ideally within insurance, financial services, or another regulated customer-facing environment.
Previous call center or contact center experience is preferred.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in
both English and French
.
Be comfortable following structured sales scripts, regulatory requirements, and established procedures.
Have strong customer service and consultative selling abilities, with the confidence to identify needs and explain insurance products clearly.
Be self-motivated and capable of working independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy when managing applications and customer information.
Be comfortable working toward measurable sales and quality targets.
Hold a post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
