Our client is a leading manufacturer of steel bar products and is currently seeking a Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A Red Seal) to join their growing maintenance team. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment Diagnose electrical, PLC, motor control, and automation issues to minimize downtime Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and machinery Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Repair and maintain motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and electrical distribution systems Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and all plant safety policies Work closely with production and maintenance teams to support safe and efficient operations What We're Looking For Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience , preferably in steel, metals, heavy manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment Strong troubleshooting skills with industrial electrical systems Experience with Siemens S5/S7 PLCs is considered an asset Knowledge of motors, VFDs, control systems, and industrial automation Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation Comfortable work Day and Night shifts - 8 to 12 hour shifts Computer skills related to maintenance management systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement Why Join This Team?
