In This Position, You Will Have The Opportunity To
Analyze, draft, and negotiate contractual agreements related to our commercial activities (e.g., supplier contracts, licenses) as well as any relevant legal documentation for the management of the company’s affairs (e.g., confidentiality agreements, legal opinions, etc.)
Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, decrees, and any legal documents to ensure the protection of the interests and liability of the group companies
Collaborate with our external legal advisors
Work closely with managers from different departments to advise them on various legal aspects
Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations
Identify legal issues, analyze possible solutions, and offer recommendations to achieve business objectives
Participate in the creation, drafting, and implementation of procedures, policies, and standardized contracts

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in law and membership in the Quebec Bar Association
Four to seven years of experience in business law
Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written, for drafting and translating contracts in English and communicating with clients and their lawyers in English
Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and integrity
Communication skills and ability to explain complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
