About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing
Lead Teacher
who is passionate about early childhood education. In this role, you will lead classroom learning, collaborate with assistant teachers, and create a safe, engaging environment that supports children’s growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging daily lessons and activities aligned with curriculum goals
Foster a safe, healthy, and inclusive classroom environment
Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
Promote multicultural learning and positive classroom behaviors
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
Supervise classroom activities, projects, and field trips
Partner with teaching staff to create a positive learning experience for every child
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 1 year of childcare experience
Must be
at least 18 years old
Must
meet Washington State licensing requirements
for education and experience
CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
Strong organizational and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to nurture and care for young children in a safe, engaging environment
Preferred:
Additional early childhood education experience
Experience leading a classroom or curriculum planning
