Lead Steward at FAIRMONT — NeverHard

Job Description Reporting to the Executive Steward, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Responsibilities Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues Lead and supervise the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed Supervise and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other areas assigned Train all Kitchen Stewards Review banquet event orders and ensure all set-ups and supplies are in place Oversee and perform the following tasks: Operate an industrial dish machine Ensure all Colleagues have the dishes, silverware and glasses required Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dish machine Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner Ensure all broken and chipped items are removed from circulation, reported and inventoried Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any items in need of repair Remove debris and trash to designated areas throughout shift Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and dishes by hand and using dish machines Follow department policies, procedures and service standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including all equipment and storage spaces Other duties as assigned What is in it for you: Paid time off Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401K Complimentary shift meal Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide Learning programs through our Academies and Educational Assistance for further development Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!
