Position Overview
The Lead Sales Coordinator provides guidance and support to a small team of sales coordinators. Act as liaison between external clients and the company sales, design, production, and shipping teams. This position will report to the Inside Sales Manager. As a team, we strive to help drive sales to meet or exceed company goals and budgets by serving customers in a professional manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Lead Sales Coordinator should have a strong understanding of the products and services we offer and the ability to explain use cases, install methods and best practices.
Develop and maintain rapport with existing and prospective customers.
Provide product knowledge to customers and ensure a positive customer service experience.
Provide quotes and process sales ensuring all processes and deadlines are met.
Respond to designer and production queries.
Engage in monthly inventory process
Managing special orders
Attend industry-related events, trade shows, etc.
Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills to determine customer requirements and ability to follow through with commitments every time
Ability to determine appropriate products or services to meet customer needs
Industry experience
Strong ability to guide and mentor inside sales team
High level of attention to detail
Strong critical thinking ability
Professional level of written skills
Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Education & Experience
Diploma or certificate from a technical college or design school (Asset)
Industry related experience
Experience using design software.
