Job Description You’ll step into a senior paramedic role where clinical judgment, EMS leadership, and hands-on training all matter. In this position, you’ll oversee on-site EMS program operations while mentoring EMTs and paramedics, supporting emergency response readiness, and helping maintain consistent clinical standards across the care environment. You’ll provide direct paramedic care, guide EMS personnel in protocol adherence, coordinate continuing education, and support clinical improvement through drills, case reviews, after-action reviews, and competency validation. This role is designed for a paramedic who is ready to combine field credibility with training ownership and day-to-day program leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage the on-site EMS program, including coverage planning, readiness activities, records, and operational coordination. Serve as the senior paramedic resource for EMTs and paramedics, providing clinical mentorship, guidance, and protocol oversight. Develop and deliver EMS training, including skills sessions, simulation exercises, continuing education, drills, and competency assessments. Support clinical quality improvement through case reviews, after-action reviews, training-gap identification, and protocol updates. Perform advanced emergency care, including IV access, blood draws, IO access, intubation, medication administration, and 12-lead ECG interpretation. Maintain EMS training records, certification tracking, inventory readiness, patient documentation, and cross-functional support across clinics, emergency room, and inpatient units. If you’re ready to lead from both the stretcher side and the training room, this role gives you meaningful ownership of EMS readiness and clinical performance.
