Summary
The HR Lead – Learning & Development supports employee capability building through structured training programs and learning initiatives. The role focuses on designing and facilitating training, tracking learning outcomes through data insights, mentoring team members, and coordinating support activities to ensure smooth delivery of volunteers’ learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and facilitate learning and development programs based on organizational training needs.
Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps across teams.
Develop training materials, workshops, and learning resources for employees and volunteers
Support continuous learning and knowledge sharing across teams.
Mentor and guide team members to support their professional development.
Manage training schedules, materials, and learning documentation.
Coordinate internal and external training sessions and resources.
Maintain learning records and ensure training materials are accessible.
Track participation, engagement, and completion metrics for learning programs.
Analyze learning data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare basic reports to support HR insights and decision-making.
Support HR and program teams in coordinating learning initiatives and related activities.
Assist with operational and coordination activities across HR functions as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field.
Certifications in Training / Learning & Development are an asset.
4+ years of experience in learning and development, training, or talent development.
Experience designing and facilitating training programs.
Exposure to learning analytics or HR reporting tools is preferred.
Experience in a non-profit environment is an asset.
