Lead, Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking a Lead, Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) to join our Workplace Health & Safety department. Reporting to the Regional Manager—Health, Safety and Prevention Program Governance, the Lead, HSMS is responsible for aligning prevention strategies and program development with Health and Safety Management System principles, with a focus on compliance with BC legislation and applicable Canadian Safety Association (CSA) standards. This position is responsible to promote, and where feasible, oversee integration of core health and safety program elements and systems into Northern Health business/operational systems, in order to advance NH’s strategic plan through strengthening the internal responsibility system and safety culture. The Lead will have key responsibility of WorkSafeBC high risk strategy planning, coordination with senior leaders and order response. The incumbent will also be required to develop relationships with colleagues in private and public sector organizations to monitor workplace health trends and developments and fosters the sharing of best practices. Starting salary will be approximately from $90,770 to $113,462 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
