Full-Time
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services space, is seeking a
Lead Data Support Analyst to oversee and contribute to the reliability and performance of enterprise data and reporting platforms.
This role
blends hands-on technical troubleshooting with team leadership
, acting as a key bridge between business users, data engineering, and reporting teams. You will ensure data systems remain accurate, stable, and production-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of data support analysts,
ensuring timely resolution of data and platform issues
Troubleshoot and resolve data load failures, access issues, and reporting anomalies across Snowflake, Sigma, and related tools
Monitor data pipelines, health checks, and report refresh cycles
Act as the primary escalation point
for complex or high-impact issues
Partner with business users and reporting teams to investigate discrepancies and ensure data accuracy
Collaborate with data engineering to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and dashboards to track incidents and performance metrics
Drive improvements through automation, monitoring, and process optimization
Qualifications
8+
years in
data analytics, data operations, or support
, including
2+ years in a
Senior/lead role
Strong hands-on experience with
SQL, and modern data platforms
Experience with BI tools (
Sigma, Tableau, Power BI
) and their integration with data systems
Solid understanding of
incident management
and root cause analysis (
Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence)
Proven ability to balance
technical troubleshooting with stakeholder communication
Snowflake ( nice so have)
Leadership & Impact
Experience
mentoring junior team members
and leading support processes
Strong sense of
ownership, urgency, and accountability
Experience supporting stakeholders across
Wealth, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Technology
Nice to Have
Experience in
financial services ( Wealth mgmt./ Asset mgmt.) / regulated environments
Degree in
Computer Science or related field
