Lead AI Engineer at Cloudious LLC — NeverHard

Seeking a hands-on AI Engineer Lead to lead engineering and production implementation of enterprise Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure . The role will translate AI architecture into scalable, secure, production-ready solutions while providing technical leadership to the engineering team. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end AI engineering from design and development through testing and production deployment. Build LLM, RAG and Agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search. Develop RAG pipelines covering chunking, embeddings, vector/hybrid search, retrieval, reranking and grounding. Build AI agents, tool/function calling, structured outputs and enterprise API integrations. Lead code/design reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure production readiness. Mentor AI engineers and convert architecture into executable engineering tasks. Work closely with AI Architects, Product Owners, business, data, cloud and security teams. Required Experience 8+ years of software engineering/application development experience. 3+ years of Azure/cloud-native development experience. Strong hands-on experience delivering GenAI/LLM, RAG and Agentic AI solutions . Experience leading engineering teams and taking AI solutions from PoC to enterprise production .
