Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: Labourer - Underground Construction Location: Alberta (Central / Northern Projects) Company: Blackline Civil Position Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a hardworkingLabourer to assist with underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and storm systems. Youll work alongside operators, pipelayers, and supervisors to support trenching and pipe installation. Key Responsibilities Assist with trenching and excavation work Help install water, sewer, and storm pipes Load/unload materials and tools Use hand tools (shovels, tampers, saws, etc.) Maintain site cleanliness and organization Direct traffic or equipment when required Follow instructions from Topman, Foreman, and operators Qualifications & Experience Previous construction or labour experience Ability to perform physically demanding work Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team What Were Looking For Ability to make decisions quickly and solve problems in the field High accountability Team-first mindset with a focus on execution Commitment to safety, quality, and getting the job done right What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Extended health and benefits package Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding civil division Strong pipeline of work across Alberta
