Обязанности: Laboratory Assistant is imposed with the following functions: 1) Laboratory workflow maintenance are following: loading autoclave; calibration of pH-meter; checking of the shower and eye-shower test; biohazard waste collection; liquid nitrogen tank fill up; water bath, CO2 incubator cleaning; cleaning of centrifuge; lab coat collection for cleaning; maintaining the operation of the PCR machine and microscopes. 2)Laboratory equipment maintenance: maintaining the laboratory equipment in good working condition; preparing equipment maintenance and calibration check list; observance of safety regulations during the operation of the laboratory equipment training RAs and students on the safe and proper use of equipment. 3) Storage maintenance: maintaining the adequate inventory; participating in the process of procurement of the goods, works and services for the laboratories of the School when necessary; making an analysis of the need for laboratory equipment, consumables and reagents, and processing applications for purchasing the above. 4) Maintaining Specific equipment/service: maintain technical service and keep technical records for chromatography, ELISA and histology department equipment; administer the operation of chromatography, ELISA and histology equipment; provide service on running experiments with subsequent results for principal investigators, research assistants and students. 5) Participating in formation of budget request of the School for the corresponding financial year and for a short term period; 6) working closely with faculty members of the School in preparation of laboratory sessions; 7) preparing plans for laboratory classes in accordance with the instructions of the faculty members and the heads, and the available equipment and reagents; 8)conducting pilot tests for laboratory experiments and exercises; 9)ensuring a control over the acceptance, inspection, testing and inventory of purchased equipment and supplies; 10)implementing the safety plan of the School and the University, including maintenance of records; 11)assisting in course related activities and other duties related to the academic and research missions of the school as assigned by Department Head or Dean; 12)participating in identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of the supervised direction; 13)timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Supervisor, Dean and Executive Director of the School as well as management of the University within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers. Требования: Education: Master degree or its equivalent from a higher education institution with English language of instruction Qualifications: Priority specializations: Biomedicine; Microbiology; Animal Biology; Molecular Biology; Immunology; Biological Sciences; Biotechnology.
