Job DescriptionJob Description Junior Recruiter SOUTHLAND is currently seeking a full-time Junior Recruiter to join our fun, talented and dedicated recruiting team! Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, and ensuring company-wide compliance with the recruiting program. Typical positions to be filled are part-time/full-time drivers and maintenance personnel. The Junior Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring that SOUTHLAND hires talented people who share in the dedication of a company committed to Safety and Service. The Ideal Candidate will Possess: High level of confidentiality Calm demeanor and a friendly, approachable manner Proficiency in Microsoft Office Exemplary written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends, as required Key Responsibilities: Provide information about job inquiries via phone, trade shows or recruitment booths Liaise with training department to organize and book training Full-cycle recruiting on very tight deadlines Administer drug/alcohol tests on applicants Prepare pre-employment and new hire paperwork as per company and legislative requirements Attend job fairs and career events / in-house job fairs and career events Revise employee files to ensure complete and accurate information Various administrative duties
