Role Summary The primary purpose of this position is to provide reliable technical support for our Odoo platform — resolving day-to-day issues, addressing user requests, and helping keep the system stable, accurate, and aligned with business requirements. This is an entry-level position designed for a developer who is building hands-on experience with the Odoo framework in a real production environment. About the Team Provide a brief overview of the team, including: Technical support and development of Odoo product for customer Work closely with senior developers, a team lead, and a Scrum Master/Product Owner; Participate in daily stand-ups to report progress and blockers; Take ownership of assigned support tickets and small development tasks within each sprint; Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements from the customer; Receive code reviews and mentorship from senior developers to support your growth; Contribute to sprint planning by providing effort estimates on support and development tasks. Key Responsibilities Describe the key responsibilities and day-to-day activities of the role. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve reported issues (bugs, configuration errors, data inconsistencies) within existing Odoo modules; Respond to support tickets from internal users in a timely and professional manner; Perform minor customizations and configuration changes to existing modules (fields, views, workflows, reports); Assist in testing fixes and updates before deployment; Document recurring issues, solutions, and best practices to build the team's internal knowledge base; Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to escalate and resolve more complex technical issues; Support data corrections, imports/exports, and routine maintenance tasks as needed; Monitor system performance and report anomalies to the team lead. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience); Technical Skills Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python ; Familiarity with Odoo framework fundamentals (models, views, actions, workflows) — academic, internship, or project experience is acceptable; Understanding of XML for view and report customization; Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL (queries, database structure); Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus (for front-end/QWeb template adjustments); Basic understanding of Git or other version control systems; Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail; Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with end users and documenting issues clearly; Ability to work under guidance, prioritize tasks, and manage support tickets in a structured manner; Willingness to learn and grow within the Odoo ecosystem; Nice to Have Soft Skills Examples: Analytical thinking Willingness to learn Responsibility Attention to detail Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Prior exposure to Odoo (any version) through coursework, internship, or personal projects; Basic understanding of ERP concepts (inventory, sales, accounting, HR modules); Additional Information (Optional) Examples: Position duration: long term Working model:Hybrid/fulltime/part-time) Location: Astana
