We are looking for a motivated and business minded junior lawyer to join our Legal team. This role is ideal for a lawyer with 1–3 years of experience who is looking to build a well‑rounded in‑house career within a fast paced and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will support a broad range of legal, commercial, and corporate matters while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities
Provide day to day legal support across a variety of corporate and commercial matters
Draft, review, and support the negotiation of commercial agreements, contracts, and other legal documentation
Assist with legal matters involving affiliated companies and corporate entities
Support corporate governance activities, including maintenance of corporate records, minute books, and annual filings
Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations to internal stakeholders
Partner with business teams to support operational initiatives and risk management matters
Monitor legal deadlines, contract renewals, and compliance related obligations
Liaise with external counsel and third party partners as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Ontario and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
1–3 years of experience in corporate, commercial, or general business law, either in private practice or in house
Strong drafting, analytical, and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment
Strong business acumen with a practical and solutions focused mindset
High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and legal technology tools
