Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Junior High Teacher at Clover Bar Junior High. Science 7, 8, 9, STEM, Learning Strategies and Jr High Fitness will be the continuing contract components of this teaching assignment. This position will also include temporary coverage of Sport for Life 7 for the 2026-27 school year to cover a one-year leave. The teaching assignment will adjust in the 2027-28 year when the leave coverage is no longer required. Physical Literacy 1 certification and Class 2 license are assets for this position. Clover Bar Junior High serves approximately 485 students in grades 7 to 9, with 23 teaching staff and 11 support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB. Clover Bar Junior High staff work hard to help students become the best they can be, providing opportunities to be engaged in their learning as well as involved in a variety of extracurricular activities such as art, band, drama, construction, foods, team sports and social activities.
