The accountant will be responsible for the preparation of internal financial reporting files for the company and its related entities, including but not limited to, bank reconciliation and payment preparation, vendor entries, commission and payroll processing, and auditing of contest displays.
Preparation of bi-weekly payroll and commissions
Prepare bank reconciliations and related journal entries.
Update accounting books and records
Weekly and monthly payment preparation for manager review.
Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable Preparation of the accounts receivable and accounts payable sub-ledgers.
Prepare vendor payments, including cheques, wire transfers and EFTs.
Summarize credit card payments, including review of supporting documents. Contest Auditing
Review contest displays for accuracy, including monthly testing of results.
1-2 years of junior accounting experience (up and comer ideally)
~ Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations and journal entries
~ Sage Intact is a strong asset
