Heavy Equipment Lube Technician
Mississauga
$26-$30/hr
Our client is seeking a reliable Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to complete routine maintenance and servicing on construction and aerial equipment at customer locations.
This is a mobile field-service position suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience maintaining diesel-powered equipment. The successful candidate will help keep customer equipment safe, dependable, and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities include:
Travel to customer and construction sites to service equipment
Complete oil changes, fluid top-ups, lubrication, and filter replacements
Maintain skid steers, mini excavators, aerial lifts, reach equipment, and towable units
Inspect equipment for visible wear, leaks, damage, or safety concerns
Follow maintenance checklists and manufacturer service procedures
Read equipment manuals and service information
Operate and test equipment to confirm proper performance
Report mechanical issues and recommend additional repairs when required
Ensure equipment meets safety and quality standards
Explain basic equipment maintenance and safe operating procedures to customers
Complete service reports and update computerized maintenance records
Maintain tools, filters, fluids, parts, and vehicle inventory
Keep the assigned service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked
Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience servicing heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, trucks, or similar machinery
Experience completing oil changes, lubrication, fluid servicing, and preventative maintenance
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic equipment troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems is considered an asset
Ability to follow service checklists and manufacturer procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid Ontario G driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
Comfortable travelling to customer sites throughout the assigned area
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Comfortable working outdoors and in active construction environments
Comfortable using computers, tablets, and electronic service-management systems
WHMIS and workplace health and safety training are considered assets
Must be able to safely wear a hard hat, steel-toed boots, high-visibility clothing, and safety glasses
