Job DescriptionJob Description We are looking for ambitious and mechanically inclined plumbers to join our growing team! We are hiring Journeymen and 3/4th Year Apprentices to our Custom Homes Division. Our position works in a constriction environment, working in high end custom homes, tenant improvement projects and commercial projects. We have lots of room for growth and development, this is a great long-term position for someone starting their career! Please note, if you do not have any experience in Custom Homes your application will not be considered. WHAT WE OFFER… · Competitive Wages with long-term full time employment · Employer paid health & dental benefits · Tuition reimbursement · Tool Purchase Program · Growth Opportunities · A fun work environment with social events HERE IS WHO YOU ARE… · You have the drive to learn and grow in a plumbing environment · You have the ability to perform repetitive work · You are comfortable with heights and working on ladders · You are able to lift up to 50lbs and work on feet for up to 8 hours · You are able to work from heights up to 25 feet on a scissor lift · You have the ability to work with others and independently on tasks as assigned THINGS YOU WILL DO… · Support Red Seal Plumbers and Foreman to drive the developer schedule and execute any task as it pertains to plumbing or construction · Carry out construction, assembly, alteration, or renovation of plumbing installations, possibly for single and multi-storey residential, commercial, and institutional environments · Carry out construction, maintenance and repair to existing plumbing for gas appliances, water reticulation, sewage systems, drainage systems and roofing systems – digging drains, installing pipes, erecting sub-floor plumbing structures; wall and roof cladding and all plumbing hardware and fittings, appliance and assemblies · Safely utilize hand tools and power tools · Handle and store plumbing supplies and materials · Follow appropriate safety practices to access plumbing installations and when using ladders, other access ways, handrails, barriers, trench supports, scaffolding and mechanical lifts (if trained/licensed) · Follow established employment and safety policies and procedures · Read and interpret various types of construction/installation diagrams · Follow written and verbal instructions in the workplace, on construction sites and trade school environments · Communicate and interact with others in an appropriate fashion in the workplace, on construction sites and in trade school environments
