Job DescriptionJob Description No on-call rotation. Guaranteed minimum pay of $44/hour. Kingstree Plumbing is hiring an experienced journeyman residential service plumber for Sherwood Park and the Edmonton area. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their trade, enjoys helping homeowners, and wants to keep improving. Excellent plumbing comes first. You can investigate a problem, identify the cause, recommend an appropriate repair, and complete clean, professional work. You’re confident running residential service calls independently, testing your completed work, and recognising when to ask for technical support. You respect customers’ homes, explain things clearly, and follow through on your commitments. Develop your skills and grow your earnings. Your guaranteed minimum pay is $44 per hour. Our performance points system is designed for technicians to earn above that minimum through weekly bonuses. Once trained in our process, we expect consistent performance against clear weekly targets. We provide training, coaching, and office support to help you succeed. Bonuses depend on results, and we’ll explain the targets and calculation during our first conversation. Help customers make confident decisions. Your role includes inspecting systems, explaining your findings, presenting suitable options, and asking customers to approve recommended work. Previous service sales experience is an asset. We also welcome excellent plumbers who want to develop that skill. What matters is your willingness to learn, practise, accept feedback, and put it into action. Our approach starts with sound diagnosis and honest recommendations. We want customers to understand their options and feel confident in the work they choose. Bring your best during the working day. We don’t operate an on-call rotation. During scheduled working hours, we expect focused effort, quality workmanship, professional customer service, and accurate job documentation. You’ll have a company service vehicle, office and dispatch support, and clear processes to help you do your job well. If you’re proud of your plumbing skills and motivated to develop further with a family-owned company, apply to start a confidential conversation. Requirements Journeyman plumbing certification recognised in Alberta. Proven residential service plumbing experience, including diagnosing faults and completing repairs independently. Pride in safe, clean, high-quality workmanship and properly testing completed work. Clear, respectful communication with homeowners. Willingness to explain findings, recommend appropriate options, and ask customers to approve work. A drive to improve your technical, customer service, and sales skills through training and coaching. Previous service sales experience is an asset. Willingness to follow our service process, document your work, apply feedback, and meet clear performance expectations. Reliability, honesty, and respect for customers and teammates. Valid driver’s licence and legal authorisation to work in Canada. Ability to work throughout the Sherwood Park and Edmonton service area. Benefits No on-call rotation. Guaranteed minimum pay of $44 per hour. Strong earning potential through our weekly performance points system. Paid training and ongoing technical, customer communication, and sales coaching. Company service vehicle. Health benefits. Office and dispatch support. Clear service processes and performance expectations. Local work in Sherwood Park and the Edmonton area. A long-term career opportunity with a family-owned company that values skilled technicians.
