Job DescriptionJob Description Journeyman Carpenter – Finishing & Cabinetry Full-Time, Permanent | Edmonton & Surrounding Area | $80,000+ Annual Earnings Serenity Contracting & Design Inc. is an award-winning Edmonton renovation and custom home company looking for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter with strong finishing carpentry and cabinetry experience to join our team. This isn't a framing focused position. We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented carpenter who takes pride in the finishing work that brings a renovation together, cabinetry, millwork, doors, trim and the details that make a finished project stand out. Annual earnings of approximately $80,000+ Stable, year-round, full-time work Monday to Friday schedule Company vehicle for work-related use Extended health, dental and vision benefits Work on high-quality custom renovations and residential projects A variety of projects and work, no doing the exact same thing every day A respectful team environment that values quality workmanship Opportunities to grow and take on additional responsibility What You'll Be Doing: You'll work on custom residential renovations throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas, with a strong focus on finishing carpentry and cabinetry, including: Completing finishing and renovation carpentry throughout different stages of a project Installing cabinetry, millwork, doors, trim and other finishing details Working independently while coordinating with project leads, trades and other team members Problem-solving and adapting to the challenges that come with residential renovation work Ensuring completed work meets Serenity's standards for quality and craftsmanship What We're Looking For: Journeyman Carpenter certification 5+ years of residential carpentry experience preferred Strong finishing carpentry skills are essential Cabinetry and millwork installation experience is preferred; however, we're willing to train an experienced finishing carpenter who is interested in developing these skills Experience working on residential renovations and custom homes Strong attention to detail and pride in finished work Ability to work independently, problem-solve and take ownership of assigned work Valid driver's license Reliable, professional and comfortable working in clients' homes About Serenity: Serenity Contracting & Design Inc. specializes in custom residential renovations and construction throughout Edmonton and the surrounding area.
