Your Responsibilities Independent advice and representation in inheritance-law matters under German law Drafting and reviewing wills and inheritance contracts Handling estate settlements and inheritance matters with cross-border elements Legal communication with German probate courts, notaries, and authorities Supporting strategic client development in German-Canadian / German-American inheritance cases Close cooperation with our international network and German partner law firms Your Profile Licensed lawyer, Rechtsanwalt (m/f/d) in Germany or qualification for judicial office (Befähigung zum Richteramt) Initial professional experience in inheritance law or citizenship law is an advantage, but not required Interest in international legal work and providing German legal advice abroad High level of independence, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of intercultural work Business-fluent English skills, spoken and written, are required We Offer An exciting position in an international environment with cases involving German law in a Canadian and American context Modern working conditions in a central location in Calgary Flexible working arrangements (full-time or part-time, fixed-term or permanent) A dedicated German-speaking team with flat hierarchies and a respectful firm culture Support with relocation, immigration procedures, and professional accreditation We value careful, team-oriented, and responsible work #J-18808-Ljbffr
