Iris's Fortune 100 direct client is looking for Java Architect . Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale Java-based regulatory and compliance applications. Define and enforce architecture standards, design principles, coding best practices, and technology roadmaps. Design scalable microservices-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures. Partner with Solution Architects and business stakeholders to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Drive cloud-native architecture initiatives leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms. Architect secure, resilient, and high-performing systems aligned with banking and regulatory standards. Lead integration design across APIs, Kafka, databases, third-party platforms, and enterprise applications. Establish and promote CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Conduct architecture reviews, identify technical risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Mentor development teams, perform design/code reviews, and ensure adherence to enterprise standards. Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Security, Data Governance, and Infrastructure teams to deliver compliant banking solutions. About Iris Software Inc.
