Full-time IT Systems Analyst
.
Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the IT Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting end users as well as administering, maintaining, and supporting the City's technology environment including workstations and peripherals, mobile devices, server and network infrastructure, municipal applications and cybersecurity initiatives, using specialized service contracts as required.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience of 3-5 years providing hardware and software support in a Microsoft Enterprise environment.
Hands on experience administering and supporting end users in Microsoft 365 suite of applications including MS Office, Teams, Sharepoint and Onedrive.
Hands on experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
Hands on experience supporting windows servers in a virtualized environment.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and the ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Industry recognized technology certifications such as ITIL Foundations, Microsoft 365 certifications, or Cybersecurity certifications will be considered assets.
Municipal IT experience will be considered an asset.
Must maintain a valid Class 5 Driver's License and have personal vehicle available to use for travel between facilities within the Martensville City limits.
Hours of Work:
This is an in-scope permanent full-time hourly wage position for which the incumbent normally works 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, however evening and weekend work may be required at times.
Wages & Benefits:
As per the CUPE LOCAL 2582 Collective Agreement: 2026 Probation Rate – $37.03/hour; Post-Probation - $41.13/hour.
