We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to staff and guests, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, and assisting the IT Manager with various tasks and projects.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will:
Be true to the mission statements of the Inn. Constantly ensure that the “5 C” standards of Relais & Chateaux, Forbes, AAA standards and Wickaninnish Inn service philosophies are followed.
Provide timely and effective technical support to staff and guests, addressing issues related to hardware, software, networks and other IT systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Assist with the maintenance and updating of the resort’s IT systems, including computers, servers, and network equipment.
Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Assist staff with the setup and use of IT equipment and software applications.
Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for using IT systems securely and efficiently.
Log and track IT incidents and requests using the resort’s helpdesk system.
Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or external service providers as necessary.
Assist in managing IT inventory, including hardware, software, and licenses.
Ensure that all IT equipment is properly accounted for and maintained.
Maintain accurate records of IT incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
Assist in developing and updating IT standards, procedures, and user guides.
