Job Description: The IT Site Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of IT services across designated sites. This role ensures a high‑quality user experience, reliable site operations, and proactive issue resolution. As the primary local IT point of contact, the IT Site Lead works closely with regional and global IT teams to deliver consistent, business‑aligned services. The role requires strong technical expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to operate confidently in a manufacturing and secure environment while delivering excellent end‑user experiences.
Responsibilities
Own and manage all site IT operations, including end‑user support, workplace technology, and local infrastructure coordination.
Deliver strong user experiences through responsive, professional, and proactive support.
Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive preventive improvements.
Collaborate across IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth service delivery.
Ensure adherence to IT processes (incident, request, change, problem, asset management).
Use ServiceNow ITSM or equivalent tools to manage and track work.
Maintain accurate CMDB and asset management data across the device lifecycle.
Use service metrics and operational data to prioritize work and drive continuous improvement.
Support site initiatives, onboarding, executive/VIP support, and key business events.
Required Skills
Experience in IT site support, workplace services, or service delivery.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Hands‑on experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), CMDB, and asset management.
Broad technical knowledge of end‑user computing and site IT operations.
Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Comfortable working with data, metrics, and structured processes.
Working knowledge of Networking and Connectivity to support the site autonomously.
Minimum 5 years hands‑on IT experience (7+ years preferred).
Experience with Windows and Microsoft environments.
Experience imaging computers.
Working experience with ticketing tools (preferably ServiceNow) and troubleshooting (hardware/software).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, lab, or operational sites with diverse user populations and technical environments.
Familiarity with ITIL‑based service management practices.
Familiarity with Agile ways of working and Lean techniques of problem‑solving.
Experience in conference room technology, collaboration tools, endpoint lifecycle management, and workplace service delivery.
Experience contributing to site projects, office moves, technology refreshes, or transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and operational risk considerations within site IT environments.
Work Environment
The work environment includes office, lab, and site environments, requiring frequent walking between buildings or work areas. The role involves lifting and transporting IT equipment up to approximately 25–40 lbs. Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or reaching is necessary to install, troubleshoot, or maintain equipment. The position may require work in data closets or server rooms, which may involve confined spaces and varying temperatures. The role demands visual acuity to read technical information, device screens, labels, and documentation. The IT Site Lead should be comfortable working for extended periods at a computer workstation and responding to on‑site incidents quickly.

This is a Contract position based out of Victoria, BC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
