We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control & Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, stock control, and inventory-related data management.
Position Summary
The Inventory Control & Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular inventory counts, organizing warehouse stock, managing inventory transactions, and supporting warehouse operations through effective planning and data management.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory records within the company ERP system.
Monitor inventory movements including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments.
Ensure inventory transactions are entered accurately and promptly.
Generate inventory reports and identify trends or concerns.
Develop and maintain organized warehouse storage systems.
Ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
Optimize warehouse layout to improve efficiency and accessibility.
Enter inventory information accurately into ERP and inventory management systems.
Create and maintain inventory tracking spreadsheets and reports.
Coordinate receiving, stocking, and inventory allocation activities.
Support annual inventory audits and internal inventory reviews.
Train warehouse personnel on inventory procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
Strong inventory counting and reconciliation experience.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong data entry accuracy and computer skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is considered an asset.
Forklift certification is an asset.
