The opportunity We’re hiring an Intern – Technology Consulting in Astana : a motivated student or recent graduate who will support digital transformation, IT consulting, risk management, and business process improvement projects while working alongside experienced consultants and client teams. What will you do: Support the analysis of clients’ business processes, IT systems, and control environments, and contribute to digital transformation and IT consulting engagements. Prepare presentations, reports, analytical materials, and project documentation for client deliverables. Conduct research on markets, technologies, and industry leading practices to support project teams. Participate in client interviews, workshops, and working sessions, documenting business requirements and current-state processes. Assist project teams with proposal development, project tracking, control testing activities, and preparation of working papers in line with internal methodologies. It can be challenging — and we believe you will overcome those challenges. What we look for: Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Information Technology, Information Security, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to structure and interpret information effectively. Understanding of enterprise information systems (ERP, CRM, BI, HRM, etc.), business processes, and IT risk management principles. Agile, growth-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and develop professionally. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above , with confident verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or other enterprise technologies is a plus. Nice to have: Previous internship or work experience in consulting, IT projects, business analysis, internal/external audit, or risk management. Familiarity with SOX, COSO, COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF, BPMN, Agile/Scrum, or Data & Analytics tools.
