Position Summary The Digital Marketing Intern is a role focused on the Matrox website and digital marketing strategies. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and with different stakeholders to assist the team in their day-to-day activities ensuring optimization of digital channels, implementing strategies that drive traffic and conversions, and measuring results. Responsibility Scope and execute Matrox website changes and examine web traffic patterns, looking to improve user experience and maximize conversions. Monitor website health, address issues in a timely fashion, and work with the IT web team to optimize performance and backend SEO and exploit technical opportunities. Conduct keyword research, track page rankings and analyze competitive landscape, highlighting potential opportunities and working with the content team to implement changes. Assist with structure data (schema markup) implementation where applicable and monitor results. Create reports in Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio to measure performance of SEO efforts and other marketing initiatives and campaigns, tracking progress on a regular basis and assessing against KPIs. Assist the team with other digital marketing initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor or master’s degree student in Marketing or a related field. Superior organization skills: must be able to direct multiple initiatives simultaneously and be responsive to internal and external constraints and inter-dependencies. Self-starter with strong attention to detail. Strong analytical and computer skills (experience with any of the following will be considered an asset: website programming or use of a CMS, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Data Studio, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, databases, Excel).
