An established architecture practice is seeking an
Intern Architect / Project Manager
to join its Toronto team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a confidential, high-profile federal government project while gaining hands-on experience in project delivery, consultant coordination, and project management.
Ideal for an ambitious Intern Architect who has completed the majority of their
Canadian Experience (CA) Program / Site Hours
, this role offers direct mentorship from experienced Architects and Project Managers. Following completion of the current project, you'll transition onto other exciting public-sector projects within the firm and to a flexible hybrid/remote model/
What You'll Be Doing
Support the Project Manager in the delivery of a confidential federal government project.
Coordinate architectural documentation, project deliverables, and drawing packages.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to keep information flowing efficiently.
Assist with RFIs, site instructions, payment documentation, and contract administration.
Attend project meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items.
Coordinate project submissions, approvals, and documentation throughout all project phases.
What We're Looking For
Degree or Master's in Architecture.
Intern Architect with the OAA or recently licensed
Majority of your
Canadian Experience (CA) Program / Site Hours
already completed.
2–7 years' experience within a Canadian architecture firm.
Experience on
p
ublic-sector, institutional, civic, educational, healthcare, justice, transportation, or government projects is highly preferred.
Strong Revit, communication, organization, and consultant coordination skills.
Comfortable working full-time on site as part of an integrated project team.
Security Requirements
This position supports a confidential Government of Canada project.
Applicants must:
Be Canadian Citizens.
Be eligible to obtain Government of Canada Security Clearance.
Must not have resided in or visited countries on the Government of Canada's exclusion list within the past 10 years, including China, Iran, Pakistan, India, or Russia.
