Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $60,000 - $69,000 We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team and support the day-to-day accounting operations. Working closely with the Controller, this role offers the opportunity to build strong operational accounting experience while contributing to accurate financial reporting, disciplined month-end processes, and continuous process improvement. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and working in a stable, team-oriented environment. What Youll Be Doing Month-End & Accounting Operations Assist with and support month-end close activities Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and supporting schedules Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances Support timely financial reporting across multiple entities AR/AP & Operational Support Support receivables collections and payables processes Help maintain visibility into cash flow and working capital activities Ensure transactional accuracy and timely processing Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues Process & Continuous Improvement Support accounting process improvements and standardization initiatives Assist with onboarding and integration of new entities Help maintain accounting controls, SOPs, and reporting deadlines Contribute to workflow efficiency and operational consistency What Were Looking For 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience supporting month-end close processes Manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset ERP system experience required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to analyze and explain financial variances Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills CPA designation not required Must be local to the Okanagan Compensation & Benefits $60,000 $69,000 based on experience Stable and collaborative work environment Hands-on exposure to operational accounting and process improvement
