Job DescriptionJob Description Intermediate Piping Designer Job Description The Intermediate Piping Designer will support the layout and design of process equipment modules for oil and gas processing facilities, with a strong focus on process piping and modular fabrication. This role involves creating and developing 3D models, piping designs, and detailed drawings to support front-end engineering design (FEED) studies and potential follow-on detailed design projects. The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging, technically complex projects in a collaborative team environment with strong potential for ongoing, long-term work based on successful project performance. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain 3D piping models using CADWorx (must-have) Produce piping isometrics, layouts, and fabrication drawings Design pipe supports, skids, and structural components Incorporate vendor data, engineering input, and stress analysis updates Support material take-offs and design documentation Coordinate with engineering, checkers, and fabrication teams Essential Skills 5+ years piping design experience 5+ years working with ASME B31.3 3+ year of recent CADWorx experience Strong skills in 3D modeling and layout design Diploma in drafting/design or equivalent Nice to Have Modular/fabrication experience Gas processing, compression, or heavy oil experience FEED and detailed design experience Work Environment Full-time, office-based role supporting modular piping and structural design, with close collaboration across engineering and fabrication teams. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Airdrie, AB. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
